About

​Aspen Grove School is a Kindergarten to Grade 8 School, with 361 students and 34 staff. The school is located in the Country Club neighbourhood in the south end of Grande Prairie, next to École Montrose. Our catchment area includes Country Club and and Country Side South. Aspen Grove School boundary students transition to Charles Spencer High School for Grade 9.

Aspen Grove School opened in1989 and was recently renovated in 2020.

Aspen Grove School hosts a campus for The Academy for Grade 4-8 Students, KinderPAL Program for Kindergarten students and the Music Program for Grade 5-8 students.

Aspen Grove School believes in kids. Each child is unique and deserves dignity and respect. We are student-focused and develop effective relationships with both students and parents to make decisions in the interest of the whole child. We believe infused character education assists to produce cooperative, contributing, and caring individualswho know how to do the right thing when nobody is watching.

KinderPall Logo

KinderPAL is an early learning Program of Choice for kindergarten-age students in GPPSD schools. The Play and Learn experience is programming in a classroom setting where students experience peer-based play as they continue developing and growing their knowledge. 

Students will experience full school day learning with kindergarten programming for half their time, and the other half is KinderPAL. It follows the school’s full-day bell schedule and calendar. A certified teacher provides kindergarten curriculum instruction, and a KinderPAL Instructor provides KinderPAL programming.

Music Program Logo

Music Program Grade 5-8 provides students the opportunity to be part of an inclusive and vibrant community.  All students are supported through quality programming which inspires curiosity, increases confidence, embraces creativity, and develops a sense of personal achievement.  Our music program creates a community rich with diversity and collaboration which encourages lifelong learning.
